Brody Sunsten

Brody Sunsten is a senior at Iowa State University where he is majoring in Software Engineering with a minor in Music Technology. Growing up in the small town of St. Michael, Minnesota, Brody took on an interest in computers at an early age. His current area of interest is computer graphics and virtual reality applications. Outside of class, Brody spends his time practicing piano, making electronic music, drawing, running, and snowboarding.


Romain Ndoutoume - Front-End Developer

Romain Ndoutoume is a senior at Iowa State University, where he is majoring in Software Engineering. His interest in software development began during the fall semester of 2017 when he had the opportunity to take a computer science class at Ames High School. He learned the basics of Front-End development and Back-End development and continue to be proficient in the field. Romain aspires to pursue a career in Sofware Engineering after he graduates. When he is not busy coding, he enjoys working out at the gym, playing video games, and spend time with his family.


Jacob Christopherson

Jacob Christopherson is a senior at Iowa State University, where he is majoring in software engineering. He began his programming interest during his time on his High School’s FIRST Robotics team 2338 Gear it forward when helping create a scouting application. He continued his learning with related AP courses and other classes into his current university and job as a web developer. Jacob aspires to become better at what he does and gain a full-time job offer for after graduation. When not working on classes, his job, or coding projects he likes to read, play strategy games, and hang out with friends.


Steven Dirth - Meeting Coordinator & Scribe

Steven Dirth is a senior in Software Engineering at Iowa State University. His interest in software development began in middle school, where he discovered the popular Minecraft mod ComputerCraft. He continued programming as a hobby throughout high school, signing up for the FIRST Tech Challenge club and later becoming one of the founding members of the FIRST Robotics Competition team. Since joining ISU in 2017, Steven has been an active member of Cardinal Space Mining - a NASA Robotics Mining Competition team and served as the club’s Controls Project Director for the duration of the 2019-2020 school year. Leveraging his experience from the club, Steven landed a summer internship at Corteva Agriscience in 2019, returned for a second internship in 2020, and has accepted a fulltime offer after graduation. Outside of software development, he enjoys reading, strategy games, and cooking.


Pete Bancks - Back end developer

Pete Bancks is a senior in Software Engineering at Iowa State University. His interest in programming began during his elementary school’s “Lego League” club, where he was able to learn to program a Lego car to carry out certain instructions on a map of obstacles. Pete enjoys developing both his front-end and back-end capabilities as a developer. Outside of the classroom, he enjoys tabletop board games, constructing mechanical keyboards, and creating music.


Enzo Ciccarelli-Asta

Enzo Ciccarelli-Asta is a senior in Software Engineering at Iowa State University. His interest in software development began when video games captured his imagination at a young age. Outside of class, Enzo plays piano, enjoys biking, and is a completionist in the video games that pique his interest.
